in 1991 and exported to the USA, EUROPE, HONG KONG,
SINGAPORE AND AUSTRALIA. Since then trained many groups
of women from District industries centre, YWCA Navjeevan
project, Sahodari project, Bharathiya yuva sakthi trust
and other Self help groups on leather crafts and marketing.
Also a mentor for BYST. Been a guest faculty at National
Institute of Fashion Technology, Chennai 1997-2000.
Compiled the curriculum for the
University of Purbanchal, Kathmandu, Nepal , BA Hons
in Fashion Design.

She is the first and only lady in India to be qualified
and practicing both neurology and
neurosurgery. First person to do Ph.D in Neurology in
the University of Madras.Chief, division of epileptology,
Institute of Neuroscience, Apollo hospitals Started
own comprehensive epilepsy services through Epicenter.
Guide for Ph.D ,MGR medical university. Also an NLP
master practitioner, conducts brain improvement,communication
skills, stress management,and life enhancement programs
for corporates and public through her unit “CREATIVE
KARMA”

R.S.Murali

RSMurali is a graduate in Applied Sciences from the Faculty
of Engineering, University of Madras.
Then he became qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant
and Company Secretary. He has also passed the Post Qualification
Research Programme of the Institute of Chartered Accountants
of India in Corporate Management, having stood ALL INDIA
FIRST. His thesis was on Organisational Failures. Subsequently
he was invited by London School of Economics, Department
of Government, for a research work on “Restructuring
of State Level Public Enterprises”. He is also an
alumnus of University of Manchester, UK. Recently he obtained
his masters in Psychology.
Murali has about 18 years of experience in the fields
of Management Consultancy and Auditing. He
has been part of the audit team of major Banks, Government
and Private Companies. His
specialization has been in the area of Government and
Developmental Projects. He has been handling
assignments for various state governments in India including
Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh,
Kerala, Orissa, Sikkim and Madhya Pradesh for various
projects funded by the World Bank, Swiss
Agency for Development and Cooperation, UNDP, ADB, Planning
Commission, etc. He has also served as Advisor to Government
of Kerala and created Public Sector Restructuring and
Internal Audit Board.
In the last 5 years he has lead teams in design and
implementation of financial reforms at the
state level in the area of urban local bodies. His team
has successfully designed and implemented
Fund Based Accounting System based on international
practices and GASB 34 guidelines. The
implementation includes policy and process aspects including
the software. In Karnataka and Madhya
Pradesh successful implementation of the same has been
completed. He was also part of the
discussion group for the CAG’s Task Force on Municipal
Accounting. He has presented several policy
papers at National Forum in this areas and currently
is involved in the e-governance discussions of
municipalities.
Murali has published extensively in national and international
professional journals in the areas
of accounting, finance, audit, MIS and management. He
has contributed chapters in two books and two of his
booklets were published by National Productivity Council.
He is also an active trainer and
has trained over 3,500 Government Officials at various
levels.
He has several international accreditations to his
credit and is a member of several professional
institutions like: Information Systems and Control Auditors
Association – USA, Institute of
Management Consultants of India, Research Development
Association, Indian Institute of Industrial
Engineers.
